Job summary

FMCG Group in Singapore seeks a Group CFO to lead global finance operations, including FP&A, treasury, tax, and audit, across multiple markets. The role oversees consolidation, internal controls, and strategic planning to support sustainable growth and value creation.

You will partner with the Board and executive team on capital allocation, M&A, and funding strategies, while driving IPO-readiness and governance improvements across regions. Travel to key markets will be required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior finance leadership experience within a multinational, multi-entity organization.
• Proven IPO readiness, capital markets transactions, or listed company experience.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, governance, and internal controls.
• Experience partnering with Boards and senior management on strategy, funding, investments, M&A.
• Experience building and leading finance teams, systems, and control frameworks during growth.
• Experience managing external stakeholders: auditors, banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, lenders.
• Fluency in IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP, SEC, SOX, HKEX advantageous.
• Experience in FMCG/beverages/consumer products or international distribution preferred.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Fluent in English; Mandarin advantageous.
• High integrity, commercial acumen, and ability to operate strategically and hands-on.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including Europe.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen finance systems, processes, and controls to scale with a multinational group.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives and build a high-performing global team.
• Represent the Group to investors, regulators, and lenders.
• Travel to engage stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.

Job Title: Group Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group's global finance function, including accounting, group consolidation, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, tax, working capital management, audit, risk management, and internal controls.

• Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy to support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Board and executive leadership team on financial performance, capital allocation, funding strategies, investment decisions, business expansion, and M&A opportunities.

• Drive the Group's IPO readiness roadmap, including governance enhancement, financial reporting standards, internal controls, audit preparedness, due diligence processes, corporate restructuring, and management of listing-related initiatives.

• Manage and coordinate external stakeholders including investment banks, auditors, legal counsel, tax advisors, valuation specialists, and other professional service providers.

• Establish and maintain timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting across multiple international markets, ensuring clear visibility of financial performance, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and key business metrics.

• Develop and oversee the Group's treasury and funding strategy, including banking relationships, liquidity management, foreign exchange exposure, debt facilities, equity financing, and investor engagement.

• Oversee cross-border tax planning, transfer pricing, financial compliance, and legal entity governance in partnership with local advisors and regulatory stakeholders.

• Strengthen finance systems, reporting capabilities, internal policies, controls, and scalable processes to support a growing multinational organization.

• Lead finance transformation initiatives focused on improving efficiency, data quality, operational controls, and decision-making capabilities.

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing global finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Represent the Group in dealings with investors, lenders, regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders.

• Support international operations across multiple regions and travel as required to engage key stakeholders and drive strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, governance, internal controls, and cross-border operations.

• Experience partnering with Boards and senior management on strategy, funding, investments, M&A, and business growth initiatives.

• Track record of building and leading finance teams, systems, and control frameworks through periods of growth and transformation.

• Experience managing external stakeholders, including auditors, investment banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, and lenders.

• Strong understanding of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP, SEC, SOX, and/or HKEX requirements is advantageous.

• Experience within FMCG, beverages, consumer products, manufacturing, or international distribution environments preferred.

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

• High integrity, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels.

• Willingness to travel internationally, including regular engagement with European stakeholders.
