Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer / Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function across Singapore and Malaysia. The role focuses on governance, reporting, and transformation to position the organisation for its next phase of growth.

The successful candidate will work with the Board and Audit & Risk Committee, drive ERP implementation, and build a high-performing finance team in a hands-on, transformation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline together with a recognised professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading the finance function within manufacturing, industrial or asset-intensive organisations.
• Previous experience as CFO, Group Financial Controller, Finance Director or senior finance leader with responsibility for the full finance function.
• Strong technical expertise in group consolidation, financial reporting, statutory reporting and audit management.
• Experience supporting SGX-listed or other publicly listed company reporting requirements is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group finance function across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring timely and reliable consolidation.
• Oversee statutory reporting, SGX compliance, management reporting and board reporting.
• Manage external audit processes and relationships with auditors and regulators.
• Drive finance transformation and implement a new ERP platform across the Group.
• Strengthen product costing, inventory controls and working capital management.
• Improve cash flow forecasting, treasury oversight and financial planning.
• Develop and restructure the finance team to support growth.
