Job summary

CLERMONT GROUP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a sharp finance professional to apply their accounting expertise across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory compliance and challenging Opco leadership on financial performance.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, month-end close, year-end reporting, regulatory filings, audits, and advisory projects, collaborating with external advisers as needed. This role is based in Singapore and requires regional travel.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Big 4 experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting of entities assigned and be fully responsible for the Accounts Payable function.
• Perform the month end closing and preparation of the monthly financial reporting.
• Perform year-end closing of accounts and timely production of financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure global and local accounting policies and standards are adhered to.
• Manage regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines such as annual audit and tax return process.
• Preparation of clear concise financial and analytical reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support in tax advisory and optimisation projects, working with external advisers as required.
• Analyse financing options, as needed.
• Assist the Finance & Accounting team in special projects as and when required.
