Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of related experience, including 2+ years in group consolidation or auditing.
• Experience with group consolidation for MNCs; SAP and BI tools preferred.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; SAP/BI tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end group consolidation with schedules and commentaries.
• Assist to prepare Group consolidation financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Roll out Consolidation tool for the Group and streamline related work processes.
• Liaise with auditors on all audit related matters and prepare the necessary schedules.
• Liaise with Local Finance team to ensure completeness of the consolidation.
• Assist in group forecasting and budgeting process and prepare consolidated forecast and annual budget.
• Participate in projects for improvement in systems, processes and financial procedures.
• Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries.

Summarize / Overview of the objective of the role

• The role has primary responsibilities supporting the Group consolidation, analysis and management reporting.
• The individual will ensure accurate & timely preparation of all finance information, especially month end group management accounts and input towards budget/forecast submissions in conjunction with the Manager, Group Finance. A large part of the individual’s role is to enhance and add value to the service already provided by each regional finance team, by means of process improvements and quality of information delivered within the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Timely & accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end Group consolidation including supporting schedules & commentaries.
• Assist to prepare Group consolidation financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of related working experiences of which at least 2-year handling group consolidation or with auditing experience.
• Experience in group consolidation for MNCs and hands-on experience in using Consolidation and Business reporting tools such as SAP is highly preferred
• Experience in BI tools and able to streamline and automate related work process is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Chinese and English is highly preferred
• Proficient in MS-Office application especially for Excel and PowerPoint skills, SAP, BI Tools
