Job summary

CHENG MENG FURNITURE GROUP (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong governance across all levels.

You will prepare monthly statements, budgets, cash flow projections, and KPIs for the Board of Directors, while leading and mentoring the accounts team and coordinating with project teams. Experience in Interior Fit-Out or Construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance.
• 8+ years of full-sets accounting experience with supervisory background.
• Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Renovation is preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency in Synergix ERP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly group financial statements, budgets, cash flow projections, and KPIs to the BOD.
• Assist the BOD in developing business growth strategies, managing capital structure, and integrating corporate financial goals across company operations.
• Monitor performance against annual budgets and oversee business and financial risk management functions.
• Oversee bank accounts, working capital, cash flow, banking facilities, GST, and annual audit coordination.
• Oversee project financial tracking alongside Quantity Surveyors (QS) and project teams, including job costing, claim reconciliations, retention collections, and project revenue tracking.
• Supervise, guide and review the work of accounts staff.
