We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented GraphicDesigner (Print & Production) to join our fun and dynamic Marketing& Communications team. In this role, you will be the visual guardian of ourcampus identity, translating academic excellence into compelling physicalcollateral-from student recruitment brochures and campus posters to eventsignage and decal across our campus. You will manage the end-to-end design and print productionprocess, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, managing externalagencies, and liaising with print vendors to deliver flawless, brand-alignedvisual assets.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Print Design & Campus Collaterals Conceptualize and produce high-quality print marketing materials, including course brochures, prospectuses, flyers, campus posters, large-format event backdrops, pull-up banners, and corporate stationery. Maintain consistency with the institution's brand guidelines across all programs (Diploma to MBA level). Prepare production-ready files with strict adherence to print standards (CMYK color profiles, bleeds, margins, crops, resolutions, and dielines).
- 2. Pre-Press & Vendor Management Own the entire print production workflow from design output to print timelines. Review digital and physical hardcopy proofs, color draw-downs, and material samples to ensure print quality and finishing (e.g., embossing, spot UV, paper weight/texture).
- 3. Agency & External Partner Coordination Formulate clear, concise design briefs for external creative agencies and freelancers when offloading production or campaign-specific workloads. Review agency deliverables, provide actionable creative feedback, and ensure final artwork aligns with institutional standards and deadlines.
- 4. Bilingual Typography & Content Support Typeset, lay out, and proofread both English and Chinese marketing copy on printed materials, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural nuance, and typographic hierarchy. Liaise with Chinese-speaking team or vendors, or regional student recruitment representatives as needed.
- 5. Ad-Hoc Event & Student Photography (SecondaryTask) Provide secondary photo coverage when the primary in-house photographer is unavailable. Capture high-quality photos for campus events (e.g., orientation, graduation, masterclasses) and student portraits. Perform basic post-processing and photo retouching in Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom or any other tools.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a solid focus on print production and brand collateral. Experience in the education or corporate sector is an advantage.
Technical Mastery
- Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop .
- Familiarity with quick-turnaround design tools such as Canva is a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of prepress processes, dyeline creation, paper stock selection, and print finishes.
Language Proficiency
- Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to typeset, edit, and proofread Chinese collateral and communicate with Chinese-speaking partners.
Photography Skills
- Fundamental hands-on experience handling DSLR/Mirrorless camera gear for event and portrait photography.
Soft Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with academic heads, external vendors, and creative agencies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of prioritizing multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
