Job summary

Suntar International Group Singapore seeks a motivated Process Engineer (Fresh Graduate) with a chemical or environmental engineering background to contribute to membrane-based water treatment projects. You will apply engineering knowledge to RO, UF, NF, and MF processes and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will support design, modeling, pilot tests, and documentation, and gain hands-on experience from basic to detailed design phases while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Internship in process engineering advantageous.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and P&IDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of membrane-based treatment processes, including RO, UF, NF and MF.
• Support feasibility studies, pilot testing, and performance evaluations of membrane systems.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Conduct process modeling, mass balance calculations, and system performance analysis.
• Work closely with other disciplines to support proposals development.
• Provide technical support for project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and customer presentations from basic to detailed design.
• Ensure compliance with local industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Process Engineer (Fresh Graduate) with an academic background in membrane technology to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of membrane-based treatment processes, including reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF), and microfiltration (MF).

Support feasibility studies, pilot testing, and performance evaluations of membrane systems.

Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and technical specifications.

Conduct process modeling, mass balance calculations, and system performance analysis.

Work closely with other disciplines to support the development in proposals.

Provide technical support for project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning of membrane systems.

Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and customer presentations. (from Basic Engineering Design to Detailed Design).

Ensure compliance with local industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.

What we are looking out for:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Prior internship process engineering experience is advantageous.

Familiarity with process modeling software (e.g., WAVE) is advantageous.

Familiarity with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, P&IDs is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
