1 year Part-time Research Assistant, Data Collection

- Average monthly hours = 42hrs per week
- Daily working hours – flexi hours ranging from 8am – 8pm, subject to dept rostering
- Will be paid based on actual hours work during the month
- Will go around hospital wards / home visits with research team, sometimes might be after office hours

Job Description
Project Carer Matters 2 aims to establish a hospital-to-home framework to better support caregivers of older adults in the Central Health Region. A major thrust of this project is the digitalization of solutions to increase accessibility and utility to seniors and their caregivers.

We are seeking a responsible and meticulous part-time Data Collector to join our research team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination of our studies to support research objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Screen, recruit, and follow-up with research participants over study period.
- Administer surveys (both online and in-person) and provide tokens of appreciation to research participants.
- Perform data-entry of participant responses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on research participants.
- Ensure timely and proper documentation and filing related to fieldwork.
- Assist in supporting research team in necessary administrative project duties.
- Perform other relevant duties as directed by the Principal Investigator or Research Fellow.

Key attributes:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially with older patients and their caregivers.
- Flexibility to conduct surveys during weekday evenings or weekends.
