Job Description

The Goldsmith/Silversmith will be responsible for the crafting, repairing, and finishing of fine jewellery pieces using gold, silver, and other precious metals. The role requires strong hand‑crafting skills, precision, and the ability to work with delicate materials. The ideal candidate will produce high‑quality workmanship according to design specifications and ensure all pieces meet brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate jewellery pieces using gold, silver, and precious metals (e.g., rings, pendants, bangles, chains).
  • Execute repairs such as resizing, soldering, stone tightening, re‑polishing, re‑plating, and refurbishment.
  • Perform metal forming techniques such as casting, engraving, sawing, bending, and soldering.
  • Operate jewellery tools and machinery: polishing motor, soldering torch, casting equipment, laser welding machine (if applicable).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and design concepts.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
  • Work closely with designers and sales teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the workshop and tools.
  • Ensure proper handling and accounting of precious metals, stones, and materials.
