Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited seeks a seasoned GM Risk App Support Leader to drive the Run function for Global Markets and Risk management systems. You will oversee 24/7 operations, provide SME guidance, and partner with business stakeholders on architecture roadmaps.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, ITIL processes and a deep banking‑tech background to ensure reliability, security and regulatory compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 9 years relevant experience.
• Strong Middleware Application Server and AWS.
• Extensive experience with Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to develop, operate and manage large enterprise systems, leading run functions.
• Oversee 24/7/365 support for GM & Risk management systems and provide trading floor support.
• Act as SME for incident and problem management; ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
• Drive automation, productivity, and operational excellence using quality methodologies.
