Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD is seeking a Trade Compliance professional near Lorong Chuan, Singapore. The role handles export regulatory screening, license tracking in SAP-GTS, and interaction with trade agencies to ensure EAR and local regulations are followed.

We offer structured training for those with lesser experience, a Monday–Friday workweek, and a competitive salary package with AWS and performance bonuses. Training provided for entry-level applicants.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
• 1–2 years working experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, customer service or trade operations is preferred.
• Training provided for those without/lesser experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs export compliance screening to ensure EAR and SG regulations are followed.
• Monitors shipments for continual adherence to import/export compliance, reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
• Conducts routine compliance review screenings (e.g., Denied Party List) for new partner creation.
• Conducts desk-bound research on Customers/End-Users’ business profiles/industries.
• Tracks license determinations in SAP-GTS and applies for export licenses with US/SG export agencies.
• Interfaces with Singapore Customs and other authorities to facilitate shipments.
• Assists with the upkeep of STS & STP Programs.
• Responds to enquiries from business stakeholders and trade agencies.
• Monitors updates to US/local trade legislations to understand business impacts.
• Delivers targeted training programs to stakeholders to raise compliance awareness.
• Performs targeted audits on business units.
• Other duties as assigned.
