Job summary

Expeditors is hiring an Engineer I - Global Technology to support Windows endpoint technologies and regional data centers across geographies. You will coordinate with global teams, vendors, and regional leadership to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable endpoints and data center environments.

The role requires hands-on technical support, project coordination, and strong troubleshooting across multiple time zones. Opportunity to grow within a Fortune 500 logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Windows endpoint administration, SCCM/Intune, and endpoint support.
• Experience in data center operations, vendor coordination, or regional technology support.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for Windows endpoints, including troubleshooting and escalation resolution.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle: OS deployment (SCCM/Intune/Autopilot), patching, and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance endpoint environments through automation and policy enforcement.
• Support Windows 11, Active Directory, Intune, Group Policy, and Mobile Device Management.
• Coordinate RDC operations: remote hands, hardware installs, moves, changes; monitor risks.
• Collaborate with CHQ, GCC, GEO teams for global rollouts and standards.
• Provide guidance to regional teams on endpoint support processes and best practices.
• Monitor operational risks and drive continuous service improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, circuits, licensing; procurement and billing.
• Maintain data center asset records, rack layouts, capacity planning.
