Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a senior SAP/SCM professional to lead global supply chain IT initiatives in Singapore. The role requires extensive SAP MM experience, cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Operations and Engineering, and strong analytical problem solving.

You will architect end‑to‑end supply chain processes, oversee budgets, and ensure governance and compliance while driving modernization through data and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years’ experience implementing SAP and non-SAP solutions in Supply Chain and related areas
• Hands-on SAP MM functional and configuration experience, along with working knowledge of some non-SAP Supply Chain applications
• Technical and analytical skills to support troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and solution delivery
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in improving business processes and productivity

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end optimization of global supply chain processes and IT solutions.
• Serve as primary interface and trusted technology partner across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service, Finance, and Manufacturing.
• Architect complex cross‑functional processes and applications for global supply chain needs.
• Provide and oversee business application support with performance, SLA, and stability focus.
• Develop budgets for project/services and manage cost drivers and renewals.
• Ensure GIS/IT governance, SDLC, testing, change management, and audit readiness.
• Plan and manage medium to large cross-functional initiatives to meet scope and budget.
• Oversee contingent resources across projects and service areas.
• Own health, stability, scalability, and performance of supply chain apps.
• Governs system integrations and data flows across ERPs, planning, logistics, analytics.
• Partner with risk teams to identify and mitigate technology-related supply chain risks.
