Job summary

Forvis Mazars Consulting Singapore is seeking a Financial Services Compliance professional to support risk and regulatory work across local and international frameworks. You will conduct audits, provide advisory services on AML/CTF, and help clients navigate MAS and other relevant standards.

You will be mentored by experienced managers and gain exposure to the global financial services industry, strengthening technical and business skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in an international public accounting firm or financial institution.
• Knowledge of International and MAS Regulations (including Banking Act, SFA, PSA, AML/CTF, Data Privacy).
• Experience in internal audit or risk or compliance department will be an added advantage.
• Strong interest in regulations, risk and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Able to work independently and as well as a team player.
• Keen interest in the international development of the compliance profession.

Responsibilities

• Leading engagements: Plan and execute internal audits and regulatory compliance reviews for financial institutions.
• Conducting assessments: Evaluate internal control frameworks and identify design and control gaps.
• Advising clients: Provide advisory services on risk and regulatory requirements and international regulations (including MAS).
• Making recommendations: Analyse findings to recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Delivering excellence: Uphold professional standards and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Following frameworks: Execute engagements in line with IPPF and Global Internal Audit Standards.
