Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Up to 3 years of experience in international public accounting or financial institutions.
• Knowledge of International and MAS Regulations (e.g., Banking Act, SFA, PSA, AML/CTF, Data Privacy).
• Experience in internal audit, risk or compliance is a plus.
• Passion for Regulations, Risk and Compliance; motivated and enthusiastic.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills; able to work independently and as a team.
• Keen interest in the international development of the compliance profession.
• Solid understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Leading engagements: plan and execute internal audits and regulatory compliance reviews for financial institutions.
• Conducting assessments: evaluate internal control frameworks and perform fieldwork to identify gaps.
• Advising clients: provide advisory services on risk, regulatory requirements and international regs such as MAS, AML/CTF and cybersecurity.
• Making recommendations: analyze findings and suggest improvements to policies, procedures and processes.
• Delivering excellence: uphold professional standards and ensure high client satisfaction.
• Following frameworks: execute engagements in line with IPPF and Global Internal Audit Standards.
