Job summary

Tazapay is seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to support global regulatory licensing and broad corporate/commercial matters from Singapore. The role requires managing external counsel, drafting policy and governance documents, and advising Compliance, Partnerships, Sales, and Business teams across time zones.

The ideal candidate has a commercial or cross-border regulatory background in fintech/payments, is comfortable liaising with regulators and law firms, and can drive multi-jurisdictional

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with bar admission in at least one jurisdiction.
2-7 years of relevant fintech/regulatory experience.
Experience with financial services licensing across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong drafting and governance skills.
Proven ability to coordinate with external counsel across time zones.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Support global regulatory licensing matters in multiple jurisdictions.
Provide broad corporate, commercial, disputes, and compliance support for internal teams.
Draft original policy, governance documents, and contracts.
Coordinate with external counsel and regulators across time zones.
Advise Compliance, Partnerships, Sales and Business teams.
