Job summary

Hitachi Rail Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Manager to oversee procurement planning, external cost estimation, and supplier performance for complex rail projects in Singapore. You will drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure timely delivery of materials in line with the project schedule.

The role requires experience in contracts and supplier management, with strong analytical skills and a focus on continuous process improvement across the Supply Chain function.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant Supply Chain experience.
• Experience in contracts, project and supplier management.
• Knowledge of procurement planning and processes.
• Experience in vendor performance and supplier monitoring.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Risk management experience.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of materials on high or medium/low complexity projects.
• Synergies optimisation among projects to increase delivery efficiency.
• Continuous improvement in Supply Chain Planning processes with cross functional activities.
• Finalization & submission of make and buy external cost estimation.
• Monitor supplier performances (logistics provider) and ensure contractual compliance.
• Coordinate planning & logistics documentation and project material delivery.
• Launch production based on project requirements and align with schedule.
• Issue Purchase Requests for materials, services, and subcontractors.
