Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD in HCI, AI, CS, Design, or a related field.
• Full-stack product design skills with strong interaction and UI fundamentals.
• Vibe Coding proficiency – able to build high‑fidelity prototypes using AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and learning‑oriented; values reflection and iterative improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for product design, curiosity, and a global perspective.

Responsibilities

• Own product design for TikTok’s short‑video, live streaming, and local services offerings across C‑and B‑side experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data teams to drive design iterations, generate creative ideas, and deliver optimal solutions.
• Continuously improve UX by tracking global design trends, user behaviors, pain points, and aesthetic preferences.
• Support design implementation, using Vibe Coding to collaborate with engineering on fidelity and basic style adaptation issues.
• Apply AI tools to boost design efficiency, translate design needs into clear technical specs, and streamline design‑development collaboration.
