TikTok Design Team in Singapore is seeking design interns to contribute to AI product experiences from concept to launch, collaborating with Product and Engineering to deliver user‑centric AI solutions.

Interns will gain hands‑on experience, participate in development workshops, and build a portfolio through real‑world challenges while preparing for a professional design career in a global tech company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate, Master's, or PhD degree in HCI, AI, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interaction and UI skills; proficient in Figma and familiar with iOS/Android design guidelines.
• Frequent user of AI products with a clear understanding of AI capabilities and interaction paradigms.

Responsibilities

• Design TikTok’s AI products and tools from concept to launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to build a trustworthy, user‑centric AI experience.
• Understand business goals and user needs; drive C‑side design from logic mapping to final implementation.
• Stay current with AI interaction trends and help define design standards for AI products.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) in daily workflows to boost efficiency and quality.

TikTok Design Team is to provide first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users around the world, thereby helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down more barriers, and build bridges between people. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands‑on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real‑world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.

Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

• Skills in visual, motion, or user research design.
• C‑side product design experience and familiarity with component‑based systems.
