Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic procurement and category management.
• Ability to lead negotiations with terminals and service providers.
• Strong cost optimisation and efficiency improvement track record.
• Experience in governance, contracts, SLAs, and compliance.
• Stakeholder management across Operations, Finance and regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Support DGM in developing and executing global terminal procurement strategies.
• Ensure implementation aligns with PIL's strategic priorities across regions.
• Balance commercial objectives with operational requirements and long-term partnerships.
• Establish standardised procurement practices, contracts, SLAs and compliance.
• Support and lead high-value negotiations with terminal operators and service providers.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through benchmarking and contract reviews.
• Oversee vendor performance monitoring and evaluations across regions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Trade, Finance and Regional Offices on network/service needs.
• Drive system enhancements, data visibility, reporting and process improvements.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to policies and sustainability frameworks.
