Job summary

BLOOMFOSS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a PLC & SCADA Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and retrofitting our existing systems, which will involve traveling internationally and working onboard vessels.

Responsibilities include meeting with clients to discuss automation needs, analyzing system requirements, amending code, troubleshooting issues, overseeing installation of PLC programs, and documenting development processes thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PLC programming experience.
• Familiarity with Siemens, Allen-Bradley (AB), or Wago PLC brands.
• Proficient with SCADA systems.
• Able to read basic mechanical or electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving with mechanical and logical approaches.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Electrical and mechanical engineering background preferred.
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Traveling overseas and onboard vessels to support and retrofit existing systems.
• Meeting with clients to discuss mechanical or electrical automation needs.
• Analyzing system requirements and amending existing code to meet new needs.
• Troubleshooting system errors effectively.
• Overseeing the successful installation of new PLC programs.
• Documenting all development processes thoroughly.
