Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8–12 years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in OT/ICS/SCADA environments.
• 3+ years in a leadership role leading cyber teams or programmes.
• Experience with major ICS platforms and security tools.
• Hands-on in security operations, engineering, architecture, and GRC.

Responsibilities

• Define and direct OT cybersecurity initiatives that improve security posture across global OT environments.
• Lead and manage a team of OT cybersecurity engineers and analysts across multiple markets.
• Own the OT cybersecurity roadmap including technology refresh and tool adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end OT threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Report to senior leadership on OT cybersecurity risk posture and metrics via monthly committees.
• Lead secure OT network design across sites with Purdue model segmentation and secure communication.
• Oversee hardening of ICT assets (DCS, SCADA, HMI, PLC, RTU) across energy sites.
• Drive IT/OT integration initiatives with edge-to-cloud architectures and audit-ready baselines.
• Provide Security by Design advisory for new OT projects from Tender to go-live.
• Lead risk assessments across OT environments per NIST CSF, ISO 27001:2022, IEC 62443, and CII regulations.
• Ensure alignment with OT Security Policy and Group Cybersecurity Policy; ensure regulatory adherence.
• Lead audit readiness for CSA, PUB, and internal reviews.
• Oversee OT security monitoring, SIEM (Google SecOps), OT tools (Claroty, Nozomi), and endpoint protection.
• Lead investigations and remediation of major OT cyber incidents with internal and external partners.
• Ensure alerts align with Security Operations standards and IR procedures.
• Monitor threat landscape and adapt defenses accordingly.
• Enforce vendor security requirements (NDA, GT&C, DPA, ISO 27001/SOC 2) for OT vendors.
• Oversee vendor cybersecurity assessments and remote monitoring proposals.
• Ensure maintenance contracts include patching, SLA, and IR reporting.
• Build, mentor, and grow the OT cybersecurity team; collaborate with risk, operations, threat defence, and assurance teams.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness training across plant personnel at least annually.
