Job summary

Lumilens is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead end-to-end operational execution for its next-gen optical transceiver products as the company scales to high-volume global manufacturing. You will own delivery, cost, quality, and capacity across Lumilens’ manufacturing ecosystem, collaborating with OEM partners, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.

Qualifications

Progressive leadership experience in hardware manufacturing or supply chain.
Experience scaling products from NPI to high-volume manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of optical transceivers, semiconductors, or related electronics.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operations for 800G/1.6T modules with on-time delivery and cost control.
Escalation authority for production, yield, capacity, quality and supplier issues.
Convert demand and revenue targets into build plans and supply strategies.
Lead global manufacturing ecosystem including EMS/ODM, OSATs, fabs and suppliers.
Drive capacity planning, ramp readiness and risk mitigation across sites.
Negotiate pricing, capacity reservations, and long-term supply agreements.
Establish dual-sourcing and supplier contingency plans to ensure continuity.
Own COGS, BOM cost reductions, and long-term cost-down roadmaps.
Partner with Product and Hardware Engineering to align design and manufacturing.
Embed DFM/DFX principles early in NPI for high-yield production.
Build cadence: weekly build reviews, supplier QBRs, executive dashboards.
Implement demand planning, S&OP, supplier scorecards and quality management.
Build, mentor, and lead operations, supply chain, planning, and quality teams.
