Job summary

Dyson Institute seeks a seasoned Product Cost Engineer to lead cost governance for the Global NPD portfolio, spanning the UK, Singapore, and Malaysia. You will collaborate with Design, Engineering, Procurement and Finance to optimize product costs and drive profitability targets.

You will generate cost build-ups for new NPD projects, evaluate design alternatives, and embed cost-conscious practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Engineering/manufacturing/cost accounting degree required.
• 5+ years in a product cost engineering role or similar.
• Experience leading change transformations and introducing new processes.

Responsibilities

• Own global NPD cost governance and reporting for SG/UK/MY projects.
• Develop cost build-up estimates for new NPD/RDD initiatives and compare design options.
• Drive cost-down ideas and value engineering with cross-functional teams.
