Job summary

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead MICE and group sales, driving revenue growth across rooms, F&B and events. The role requires building a high‑performing team and shaping strategic sales plans.

You will manage key client relationships and collaborate with Revenue Management, Event Management and hotel operations to deliver outstanding results for Shangri-La Singapore.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams.
• Extensive knowledge of MICE sales, business development and account management.
• Strong commercial acumen with market trend analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and sales planning.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MICE sales team across Singapore hotels.
• Develop and execute group sales strategies to hit revenue targets.
• Build relationships with key clients, industry partners, tourism boards.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert qualified leads.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Revenue Management, Event Management and hotel operations.
• Monitor performance, productivity and conversion metrics; drive improvements.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, market planning and sales strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to sustain high performance.
