Job summary

Med icorp Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Media Operations Manager to oversee ingestion, archiving, and rights management across CNA, radio and digital news. You will coordinate EVS/AVID workflows, ensure quality control, and manage overseas bureaus, metadata tagging and compliance for content distribution.

This role requires a degree in mass media, strong digital sense, and ability to work irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma preferably in a Mass Media Communication or related field.
• Strong understanding of the Digital landscape and innovation trends.
• Proven experience in media management, technical oversight, and people management.
• Understanding of cloud-based content management.
• Prepared to work irregular shift hours and weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of EVS PAM system browsing services to support CNA, multiple news output.
• Oversee ingestion of media in varied formats with transcoding via file or baseband.
• Coordinate streaming lines of EVS IPD via VSM.
• Quality control of ingested rushes and microwave feeds to meet quality standards for video and audio.
• Maintain storage on EVS for News and AVID for Current Affairs to ensure smooth workflows.
• Quality assessments of weekly/documentaries and transcoding from Avid to central Dalet with placeholders.
• Assist 938 Radio News with cross-interviews between CNA and Radio studios.
• Set up overseas bureaus with Adobe software and Mac permissions.
• Censor sensitive materials and track usage rights and expiry dates of wired sources.
• Manage local news/documentary rushes with metadata tagging for National Archive access.
• Ensure archival standards meet international audio track requirements for distribution and sale.
• Asset management with metadata for easy journalist research.
• Coordinate overseas bureaus on media transfer and archiving.
