Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Risk & Control specialist for Global Markets, Custody and Investment Operations. You will lead the framework with KRCSA, KRI, MRA, IRF and BCM, providing independent oversight and credible challenge to the Operations risk activities.

You will support audits, coordinate with regulators and internal stakeholders, and oversee risk assessments for overseas subsidiaries.

Qualifications

Degree holder with 4+ years' experience in Banking & Finance.
Knowledge of operational risk management and financial industry regulations.
Strong knowledge of Global Markets & Custody products and data management.
Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Analytical, problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

Be the Risk & Control specialist for Global Markets, Custody and Investment Operations and GWBGMO Center of Excellence.
Lead the Risk & Control framework through KRCSA, KRI, MRA, IRF and BCM initiatives.
Provide independent oversight and credible challenge to Operations risk activities.
Assess root causes and mitigations for issues and escalate to senior management.
Support Audit/Regulatory engagements and coordinate with auditors and regulators.
Oversee control and risk assessments for overseas subsidiaries and branches.
Proactively use data analytics to analyze control issues and emerging risks.
