OCBC Bank is offering an Asset Allocation, Risk Strategy & XVA Intern position in Singapore. You will work with Global Markets on digital assets, blockchain tech, and quantitative risk management.

The role emphasizes coding, data analysis, and automation to improve desk processes and risk monitoring. You'll collaborate with traders, strategists, and risk professionals to develop practical solutions, automate tasks, and contribute to innovation initiatives using Python and Excel.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Strong interest in financial markets, technology, and innovation.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Good knowledge of Excel, including VBA and macros.

Responsibilities

• Digital Product Development: assist the team in launching and supporting digital financial products on private blockchain platforms.
• Process Automation: develop Python-based tools to automate desk processes and improve reporting.
• Risk Analytics Support: help aggregate and analyse risk exposures across portfolios.
• P&L Analysis: support P&L explain and attribution tools.
• Data Management & Reporting: prepare and validate data used in risk analysis and management reporting.
