Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for the Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) team within CIB Technology in Singapore.

You will lead multiple teams, guide day-to-day implementation activities, and ensure adherence to compliance standards and business requirements. You will drive technical delivery, set expectations for output and collaboration, and manage dependencies with other teams to deliver aligned products and applications in a fast-paced financial services

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
• Experience leading technology projects
• Experience managing technologists
• Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience

Responsibilities

• Hands on with technology and development including processes
• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Provide Manager (Level 3) support for the applications on a 24x7 basis
