Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an Internal Controls role in Singapore to design and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls across global functions. The role focuses on risk identification, policy reviews, and proactive controls advisory support.

You will lead cross‑functional projects, utilize real-time data analytics to identify risks, and communicate with stakeholders to enhance the control environment. A strong analytical mindset and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in data analysis; familiar with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL).
• Excellent English communication for APAC stakeholders.
• Demonstrates ethics, dedicated work attitude, and motivation with a results-oriented mindset.
• Open-minded and adaptable; thrives under pressure with critical thinking.
• Knowledge/experience in E-commerce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global projects to review policies, define processes, identify risks, controls, and opportunities for enhancement across business units.
• Provide control guidance during business process changes and contribute to company-wide initiatives; support risk management activities.
• Independently utilize real-time data analytics tools to promptly identify and address risks, drive process improvements and support continuous risk monitoring with data analytics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure key risks are addressed and improve the control environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including all three lines of defense, for data-driven risk advisory support and root cause analysis for fraud prevention.
