Job summary

Rand Technology seeks a Global Commodity Manager to drive its global sourcing strategy for critical ICs and PCBA components. The role leads supplier partnerships, conducts executive visits, and aligns sourcing initiatives with business goals across global markets.

Based in Singapore or nearby regions, the candidate will influence Sales and Sourcing, manage broker relationships when needed, and represent Rand at international trade events.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in the electronic components industry in a buyer, sales, or commodity management capacity.
• Proven expertise and relationships with suppliers and franchise distributors for assigned commodities.
• Deep familiarity with the components supply chain from OCM to OEM including IDM, franchise distributors, and the open/market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key suppliers to secure supply continuity and pricing.
• Conduct regular supplier and customer visits and represent Rand Technology at global trade shows and supplier meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to align supplier capabilities with customer demand and growth opportunities.
• Lead continuous market research and trend analysis for assigned commodities and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver market reports and executive summaries for the senior leadership team.
