Job description

Global Head of Operations (FPSO & Offshore)

We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Global Head of Operations (FPSO & Offshore) for an established international third-party ship and offshore management organisation. This is a senior leadership position with primary responsibility for the operational performance and management of the organisation's Oil & Gas business, with particular focus on FPSO, FSO and related offshore assets.

The role will suit someone with a strong operational background who is comfortable overseeing complex offshore operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safe and reliable delivery to clients. The ideal candidate would have strong operational and P&L leadership experience in FPSO, FSO, and/or adjacent offshore units.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the Oil & Gas business
• Oversee FPSO, FSO and related offshore operations, including safety, technical management, crewing and client delivery
• Ensure operational standards, procedures and performance expectations are consistently maintained across the business
• Lead and support operational teams across different geographical locations
• Work closely with technical, marine, crewing and commercial teams to ensure effective execution of projects and contracts
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, charterers and other key stakeholders
• Support the evaluation and delivery of new business opportunities from an operational perspective
• Ensure that new projects and contracts can be delivered safely, efficiently and sustainably
• Take responsibility for business performance and P&L matters within the Oil & Gas segment
• Represent the organisation in operational and client discussions as required

Requirements

• Significant experience in FPSO, FSO, offshore marine or Oil & Gas operations
• Good understanding of marine, technical, crewing and safety-related operations
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams
• Experience managing business unit, regional or P&L responsibilities
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities
• Sufficient commercial understanding to work alongside business development teams and assess new opportunities
• Exposure to both European and Asian/APAC markets would be advantageous
