Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd. seeks a technology leader to drive end-to-end strategy, delivery and operations for Group Wholesale Banking digital platforms, spanning cash management, payments and trade finance, with a global delivery model of 300+ engineers.

You will own delivery outcomes, production reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to accelerate growth and customer experience across ASEAN and China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in technology leadership overseeing large delivery organizations.
• Proven success building and running delivery at scale (≥300 engineers) across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year digital banking technology strategy and roadmaps; align with Risk, Country Tech leads.
• Drive payments platform transformation and migration of country schemes; ensure resilience and performance SLAs.
• Govern platform architecture; champion API-first, event-driven, and cloud-ready patterns.
• Build and run a scaled delivery organization across geographies; optimize capacity and quality.
• Oversee program/portfolio planning, dependency management, and release governance.
• Lead production reliability, SRE, and continuous improvement with post-incident learning.
