Job summary

Meta is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to drive hardware supply chain execution for data center infrastructure. You will lead cross-functional efforts to define supplier ecosystems, manage quality, cost, and supply continuity across high-volume programs.

Responsibilities include developing commodity strategies for server racks, semiconductors, and electromechanical assemblies; leading supplier engagements and risk assessments; and partnering with engineering and manufacturing to influence

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain engineering within the hardware manufacturing industry.
• Experience leading end-to-end supply chain execution for technically complex components, including supplier selection, negotiation, qualification, and lifecycle management.
• Experience conducting manufacturing capability assessments, process audits, and supplier risk evaluations for high-volume production programs.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sourcing, Quality Engineering, NPI, hardware engineering, product development, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with product and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute commodity strategies for technically complex components such as server racks, semiconductors, electromechanical assemblies, optical systems, or custom silicon.
• Lead supplier engagement, demand versus supply assessments, manufacturing capability audits, and risk evaluations across global supply chains.
• Partner with hardware engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to influence component architecture and manufacturability decisions to meet mass production schedules.
• Establish and lead supplier performance management frameworks with scorecards, business reviews, and corrective actions tied to quality and delivery metrics.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks from geopolitical factors, single-source dependencies, and supplier financial instability.
• Drive multi-source supply strategies and qualification of alternate suppliers to improve resilience.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics, and operations to align supplier capacity and lead times with product ramps.
