Job summary

TD Securities in Singapore is seeking an Associate to join the Singapore Investment Portfolio team. You will identify, evaluate, and execute fixed income opportunities across global markets with collaboration from Singapore, London, and Toronto desks.

You will contribute to portfolio construction, idea generation, analysis, and hedging, while supporting portfolio managers and ensuring robust operational controls in a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial markets.
• Experience across treasury, market risk, credit analysis, or fixed income roles is desirable.
• Familiarity with APAC credit markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate relative value opportunities in investment-grade fixed income markets.
• Generate investment ideas via fundamental, quantitative, and market-based analysis.
• Execute bond, rate derivatives, FX and cross-currency hedging transactions.
• Monitor macro data, policy developments, and credit fundamentals for portfolio impact.
• Support Singapore and overseas PMs with execution, analysis, and portfolio initiatives.
• Maintain coverage of primary and secondary bond markets and liquidity conditions.
• Perform daily P&L, attribution, and portfolio monitoring; manage funding needs.
