Job summary

PIMCO in Singapore is seeking a Portfolio Associate to support Portfolio Managers and collaborate with Account, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams across the firm’s global offices.

You will monitor portfolios, assist with rebalancing, cash flow management, and performance attribution using proprietary risk systems and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in a technical field.
• Good understanding of fixed income, equities and FX workflows.
• Experience supporting Equities, EM, or multi-asset strategies preferred.
• Shift rotation to cover early mornings and holidays per market requirements.
• Excellent communication in a complex financial environment.
• Programming skills in Python/SQL and data visualization tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Equities, EM, and Hedge Fund portfolios and trading strategies across cash and derivatives.
• Utilize risk and analytics systems to monitor portfolio exposures and performance.
• Understand trade lifecycle and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure positioning aligns with objectives and client mandates.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management on rebalancing and implementation.
• Assist with account transitions, cash flow management, and funding needs.
• Conduct performance, attribution, and risk analyses.
• Tag and classify trades within risk frameworks.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
