Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking an experienced trader to join our Macro trading team, focused on building out our global fixed income strategy. This role will reside in our Singapore office, with responsibilities spanning trade execution and collaboration with quantitative research and technology teams to implement strategies and trading tools.

Key duties include risk reviews, maintaining strong connections with counterparties, and daily market communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
Minimum of 2 years trading experience in global fixed income products on the buy-side.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Docs and trading platforms (Tradeweb, Bloomberg).
Understanding of APAC fixed income market structure and products (FX, IRS, sovereign bonds, inflation swaps, bond futures).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large trade sizes and counts.

Responsibilities

Review risk (trade entry, DV01, allocations, PNL tracking, portfolio risk checks).
Collaborate with Quantitative Research to provide real-time feedback for model optimization.
Collaborate with Systems Technology to build efficient trading systems.
Build relationships with dealers and communicate important information to the team.
Interact with sell-side Research teams and provide daily market updates.
