Booking Holdings seeks a FinTech Product Legal Counsel to support its international payments initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves advising product and engineering teams, leading cross-border regulatory assessments, and managing licensing and compliance risk in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years PQE, a law degree from a top school, and strong drafting/negotiation skills.

Formación

• Qualified lawyer with 3-5 years' PQE (in-house and/or big firm experience preferred).
• Law degree from a top law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Experience advising on FinTech products within fast-paced technology companies.
• Proven track record in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Knowledge of international money transfer, FX, outsourcing, open banking, e-money, payments, e-commerce and PSD2/AML directives is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Advisory: Provide high quality product legal advice to enable compliant delivery of FinTech/Payments product strategy from design to launch.
• Product Enablement: Act as a first legal point of contact for fintech product and engineering teams globally.
• Regulatory Leadership: Lead multi-jurisdictional regulatory assessments for Fintech products and payments flows.
• Risk and Compliance: Ensure products operate within licences and regulatory perimeters.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, Finance and Commercial teams.
• Guidance and Governance: Develop playbooks, templates, and guidance for recurring payments topics.
