Job summary

PMG ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD is seeking an Event Director to lead the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of onsite, virtual, and hybrid events across local and regional markets. You will mentor the Events team and ensure events meet client objectives, timelines, and budgets.

You will manage budgets, client liaison, vendor relationships, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality experiences and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of event delivery, including reconceptualization, proposal development, execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Translate client objectives into effective event strategies and experiences as the primary client liaison.
• Develop and manage project budgets, quotations, and cost controls to achieve margins.
• Guide and allocate resources within the Events team for efficient collaboration across functions.
• Manage relationships with venues, suppliers, production houses, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee event operations including production, show flow, content, technical delivery, and onsite readiness.
• Identify risks proactively and implement contingency and risk management measures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify account growth opportunities.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance Events team capabilities.
• Communicate with clients, internal teams, vendors at all levels to ensure alignment.
• Work independently while fostering teamwork across departments in a fast-paced environment.
