Job summary

The National University of Singapore seeks an experienced researcher to join the Global Relations Office. You will conduct in-depth research on global higher education trends and internationalisation, producing briefs and policy analyses to inform GRO's engagement strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Global Studies, or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in research, strategy, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI tools for research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake research and analysis on developments in global higher education and internationalisation.
• Monitor international engagement and mobility trends and prepare briefs and reports.
• Source and synthesise relevant data and statistics, highlighting key findings and implications.
• Undertake assessments and reviews of programmes and policies related to international engagement and mobility.
• Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the team's work.
• Develop, maintain and improve research resources, databases, templates, and dashboards to support timely, accurate reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the team's research approaches, analytical frameworks, and knowledge base.
