Job summary

Integra Petrochemicals Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, is seeking a Demurrage Manager. The role reports to the Global Head of Chartering in Singapore.

Responsibilities include technical demurrage calculations, claim management, and risk assessment across global gas and liquids shipments. The candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant experience in chemicals/liquids and possess strong knowledge of shipping practice, laytime, and charter-parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in demurrage management for chemicals/liquids
• Strong understanding of laytime calculations and charter-parties
• Excellent verbal and written communication with global teams
• Interest in leveraging AI-enabled systems to improve reporting and workflows

Responsibilities

• Perform laytime calculations for global marine shipments and follow up on claims to resolution.
• Analyze charter-parties and voyage documents to accurately calculate demurrage for vessel shipments.
• Prioritize and negotiate recoveries, manage demurrage portfolio end-to-end.
• Review contracts to highlight demurrage risks and liaise with internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement demurrage tools for visibility of claims, timebars, exposures, and recoveries.
