Job summary

re-zoo-me is looking for a Data Engineer to support overseas data warehouse operations across mobile, IoT, and app data domains. You will develop data processing techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful insights.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL, apply data modeling techniques, and create visualizations with Tableau or Power BI while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support regional analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, Data Science or related field.
• 1–3 years in data engineering, analytics, or related role.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark or Flink.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one language (Python/Java/Scala).
• Basic data modeling and warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of data mining or ML concepts a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork, Mandarin & English.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and development of overseas data warehouse (mobile, IoT, app data).
• Develop data processing techniques and analytics apps to transform raw data into insights.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Python/SQL.
• Apply basic data modeling and data mining techniques.
• Analyze large datasets to support overseas business operations.
• Create data visualizations and simple reports (Tableau/Power BI).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and monitoring of data workflows.
