Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks an intern for its Tech, Media & Telecom team within Global Corporate Banking. You will gain exposure to corporate banking research, industry analysis, and client coverage while developing analytical, research, and financial assessment skills.

You’ll collaborate with Relationship Managers and industry specialists to interpret data, prepare market updates, and support strategic projects across the US, China, and Taiwan.

• Interest in emerging technology trends, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation, would be advantageous.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Industry Research: conduct research on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors to identify key trends, growth drivers, and developments impacting corporate banking clients.
• Market Intelligence: gather and analyse market intelligence, economic indicators, and industry developments to support business planning and client engagement activities.
• Financial Analysis: support the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, operating performance, and business trends of large corporate clients.
• Data Analytics: leverage data and analytical tools to identify trends, evaluate market opportunities, and generate actionable business insights.
• Sector Coverage Support: develop knowledge of technology value chains, emerging growth themes, and industry ecosystems across key markets including the United States, China, and Taiwan.
• Presentation Development: prepare client presentations, industry updates, market summaries, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Corporate Banking Exposure: gain exposure to a broad range of corporate banking products and services, including bilateral loans, trade and supply chain financing, global markets, and global transaction banking solutions.
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on client coverage initiatives, sector reviews, and strategic projects as assigned
