Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Operations Central Team (OCT) Contamination Control Engineer to drive global CC engineering improvements, standardize processes, and leverage worldwide resources to deliver industry-benchmark solutions.

You will work with process and equipment engineers to startup, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality, reliability, yield, cost, productivity, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of wafer fab experience.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Drive global Contamination Control strategy, programs, and performance to achieve Best-in-Class outcomes and zero deviations.
• Lead cross-functional alignment to resolve yield, reliability, cleanroom issues and mitigate contamination risks.
• Develop CC metrics, KPIs, and standardize processes across sites; coordinate global efforts.
• Lead CC projects to reduce process and equipment variation and support corporate goals.
