Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior EHS leader to advance construction safety culture across multi-site programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk management.

You will develop and deploy global EHS programs, mentor engineers, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, compliant construction initiatives while leveraging AI-enabled tools and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years leading construction EHS programs, including hazard assessment and root cause analysis.
• Experience interpreting EHS regulations and partners across geographies.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across borders in a multicultural setting.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program development and compliance across construction sites.
• Develop, implement, monitor EHS programs and procedures, supporting global adoption.
• Lead construction safety management and share best practices across regions.
• Integrate EHS criteria into project planning, including contractor management and pre-task planning.
• Plan and conduct EHS audits/assessments; track findings and verify closure.
• Respond to emergencies; lead investigations and root cause analyses.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and suggest risk-reduction actions.
• Ensure timely completion of EHS reports, permits, and records.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable EHS plans and resources.
• Provide guidance on hazard identification and risk assessment for high-risk work.
• Serve as technical advisor; coach engineers and technicians to build capability.
• Support global EHS program deployment and training across cultures.
• Collaborate with internal partners and contractors to resolve complex compliance questions.
