Job summary

Razer Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and evolution of a distributed, cloud-native microservices platform across multiple regions.

You will drive architectural decisions, governance, and technical leadership for scalable, secure systems that meet data residency requirements. You will collaborate with engineering, security, product, and operations to ensure alignment with business goals, while advancing modern service decomposition and global deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in architecture/leadership.
• Proven microservices design in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Experience migrating monolithic to microservices with integration strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable, secure, high-performance architectures and robust data synchronization.
• Transform legacy monolithic systems into modular microservices across regions.
• Define patterns for regional deployment, traffic routing, failover, and DR.
• Design compliant data residency and privacy solutions across boundaries.
• Utilize containers (Docker) and Kubernetes for cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, product, operations and stakeholders.
• Set best practices, standards, and review processes for services and regions.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Engage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with cloud, distributed systems, AI/ML, and web architecture.
