Job summary

Sunrate, a leading global payment and treasury platform, seeks a Financial Institutions Business Development Manager to lead strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions across markets. You will expand cross-border collections, payments, settlement, and FX services to support Sunrate's growing cross-border network.

You will identify opportunities, negotiate terms, coordinate onboarding and due diligence, and manage ongoing partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in business development, financial institution partnerships, banking relationship management, or financial services.
• Familiarity with banking services, cross-border payments, payment networks, and financial institutions' operations.
• Experience coordinating due diligence and negotiating commercial agreements with financial partners.
• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential banking and financial institution partners, assessing market coverage, currencies, and onboarding requirements.
• Engage with and develop new partnerships with financial institutions to expand the payment network.
• Establish and maintain relationships with banking partners and coordinate communications.
• Negotiate service scope, pricing, fees, and account arrangements.
• Coordinate bank account opening and due diligence with internal and external parties.
