Job summary

Tencent is seeking a data analytics-oriented professional to support overseas ad network insights and optimization efforts. You will work with Data Science and Recommendation teams to design multi-source analyses and scalable methodologies, contributing to the in-house diagnostics platform for better ad-delivery decision-making.

The role requires a 1–2 year background in advertising or data science, fluency in English and Mandarin, and strong collaboration skills to drive growth and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Analytics preferred.
• 1–2 years of working experience in the advertising industry or data science, with understanding of ad recommendation systems; prior experience in data analysis or strategy for gaming products is a plus.
• Strong learning ability, curiosity about data and business, solid cross-functional collaboration skills, resilience under pressure, and a result-driven mindset.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, able to support cross-regional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis for the overseas ad network, leveraging industry and advertiser insights to identify growth and efficiency opportunities, and help optimize advertiser campaign performance.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Recommendation teams on multi-source data analysis, contributing to the design and rollout of strategy optimizations while building reusable methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of the in-house data diagnostics platform, helping build monitoring and attribution modules across the full ad-delivery funnel to improve issue diagnosis and decision-making efficiency.
