Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE (PERSONNEL) PTE. LTD. is partnering with a leading global financial institution in Singapore to appoint a Finance/Accounting professional. This role covers daily accounting operations, GL maintenance, accruals, and month-end close.

You will work with regional finance teams, ensure accurate coding and timely month-end reporting, and support GST claims and compliance. Ideal for candidates with a diploma or degree in accounting and hands-on accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, finance operations or financial reporting environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of general ledger accounting, accruals and month-end closing.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and cost accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly accruals and ensure expenses are recognised in the correct reporting periods.
• Perform journal posting, account reconciliations and financial transaction reviews.
• Support month-end closing processes and preparation of management financial reports.
• Review and process invoices with accurate coding, documentation and timely approvals.
• Assist with GST claims and maintain supporting documentation to meet compliance requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to resolve accounting and finance-related matters.
