Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Assistant Manager, Land (GIS Analyst / Spatial Data Specialist) to support development and implementation of spatial data solutions. You will work with complex geospatial datasets, design GIS solutions, and communicate spatial insights to stakeholders across engineering functions.

The role focuses on data quality, GIS workflow automation, and enabling integration with enterprise platforms, including BIM systems.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
A strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial analysis techniques, and cartographic principles.
Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS, and spatial databases.
Experience in data analysis and translating datasets into insights.
Knowledge of Python programming for automation and spatial analysis is advantageous.
Familiarity with BIM software and integration methods would be a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Processing and analysing complex spatial datasets to extract insights.
Designing and implementing GIS solutions for business needs.
Creating and maintaining detailed spatial databases with data quality in focus.
Developing automated workflows to streamline spatial data processing.
Generating maps, visualisations and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose GIS solutions.
Supporting integration of GIS data with other platforms, including BIM.
Documenting technical processes and maintaining SOPs.
